Troubleshooting
Snippets aren’t expanding
Section titled “Snippets aren’t expanding”- Make sure the Accessibility Service is enabled — this is what detects triggers in the background. Check in the Nibit app or Android Settings → Accessibility.
- Type the trigger and press space or return — expansion fires on whitespace, not mid-word.
- Confirm the trigger matches exactly what you typed — open the Nibit app and check the Snippets list.
Nibit doesn’t appear in the keyboard switcher
Section titled “Nibit doesn’t appear in the keyboard switcher”- Go to Android Settings and search for “keyboards” or “input methods”, then confirm Nibit is enabled. (On Samsung devices: Settings → General management → Keyboard list and default.)
- If Nibit was recently installed, try restarting the app.
Clipboard history is empty
Section titled “Clipboard history is empty”- Nibit captures clipboard entries while the Nibit keyboard is active. If you copy something and never switch to Nibit, it won’t appear in history.
Sync isn’t working
Section titled “Sync isn’t working”- Make sure you’re signed in on both your device and the web companion.
- Check your internet connection.
- Try signing out and back in on the device.
