Troubleshooting

  • Make sure the Accessibility Service is enabled — this is what detects triggers in the background. Check in the Nibit app or Android Settings → Accessibility.
  • Type the trigger and press space or return — expansion fires on whitespace, not mid-word.
  • Confirm the trigger matches exactly what you typed — open the Nibit app and check the Snippets list.

  • Go to Android Settings and search for “keyboards” or “input methods”, then confirm Nibit is enabled. (On Samsung devices: SettingsGeneral managementKeyboard list and default.)
  • If Nibit was recently installed, try restarting the app.
  • Nibit captures clipboard entries while the Nibit keyboard is active. If you copy something and never switch to Nibit, it won’t appear in history.
  • Make sure you’re signed in on both your device and the web companion.
  • Check your internet connection.
  • Try signing out and back in on the device.
