Installation

Download Nibit from the Google Play Store and open the app.

When you open Nibit for the first time, the app walks you through two setup steps.

Tap Open Settings, find Nibit in the accessibility services list, and turn it on. This is what lets Nibit detect your snippet triggers and expand them in place as you type.

Once enabled, return to the app and tap Continue.

Nibit only reads text to detect snippet triggers — it does not log or transmit your keystrokes.

Tap Open Settings, find Nibit in the keyboards list, and toggle it on. This adds Nibit as a secondary keyboard so you can switch to it from any text field.

Once enabled, return to the app and tap Continue.

When setup is complete, tap Start using Nibit.

Once installed, switch to Nibit from any text field:

  • Tap the globe icon (🌐) in the bottom-left corner of your keyboard

Select Nibit from the list. Switch back the same way when you’re done.

You don’t need an account to use snippets locally. Sign in to unlock cross-device sync, the web companion, and cloud backup — these features require a Cloud Pro subscription.
