# Troubleshooting

Common issues and how to fix them.

## Snippets aren't expanding

- Make sure the **Accessibility Service** is enabled — this is what detects triggers in the background. Check in the Nibit app or Android Settings → Accessibility.
- Type the trigger and press **space or return** — expansion fires on whitespace, not mid-word.
- Confirm the trigger matches exactly what you typed — open the Nibit app and check the Snippets list.

## Nibit doesn't appear in the keyboard switcher

- Go to Android **Settings** and search for "keyboards" or "input methods", then confirm Nibit is enabled. (On Samsung devices: **Settings** → **General management** → **Keyboard list and default**.)
- If Nibit was recently installed, try restarting the app.

## Clipboard history is empty

- Nibit captures clipboard entries while the Nibit keyboard is active. If you copy something and never switch to Nibit, it won't appear in history.

## Sync isn't working

- Make sure you're signed in on both your device and the web companion.
- Check your internet connection.
- Try signing out and back in on the device.
