Snippets

Snippets let you store any piece of text — a phrase, a template, a block of code — and expand it instantly by typing a short trigger.

Open the Nibit app → Snippets+. Give it a trigger and an expansion, then save.

Triggers can be anything: abbreviations (,addr), punctuation-prefixed shortcuts (,sig), or short words that couldn’t appear accidentally (xmeet). Pick something you’d never type by accident.

There are two ways to expand a snippet:

Trigger expansion — type your trigger in any app with any keyboard, then press space or return. The accessibility service detects the trigger and expands it in place.

Keyboard tap — switch to the Nibit keyboard, browse or search your snippet list, and tap to insert. Useful when you can’t remember the trigger or want to pick from a list.

To undo an expansion, press backspace once immediately after expanding.

Tap any snippet in the list to edit it. To delete, open the snippet and tap the delete icon.
