# Quick Links

Launch apps, deep links, and dynamic URLs directly from the Nibit keyboard.

Quick links open any URL or deep link in one tap — a website, an app screen, a search, or a dynamic URL built from your clipboard or a quick fill-in.

The real power is in **dynamic** quick links: URL templates where you fill in a piece like an issue number, username, or search term at tap time. URLs that would take 30 seconds to construct on a mobile keyboard become instant.

## Accessing quick links

Quick links are available in three places:

- **Nibit keyboard** — tap the **Links** tab while typing in any app
- **App home tab** — the Links section on the Nibit app home screen
- **Quick hub tile** — available as a quick-access tile without switching keyboards

## Creating a quick link

Open the Nibit app → **Links** → **+**. Give it a name and a URL, then save.

For dynamic links, add `{argument name="…"}` placeholders anywhere in the URL. When you tap the link, Nibit prompts you to fill them in before opening.

## Starter packs

Nibit includes ready-made quick link packs you can install from **Settings → Starter packs**:

- **Web Search** — Google, YouTube, Maps, Amazon, Wikipedia, and more
- **Developer Tools** — GitHub, Stack Overflow, npm, MDN, Crates.io
- **Social Media** — X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram
- **Communication** — Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, WhatsApp

See [Dynamic quick links](/quick-links/dynamic/) for examples across different use cases.

## Deep links

Quick links support Android deep links (`myapp://path`) and intent URIs, so you can jump straight to a specific screen in any app.
